Former Super Eagles player, captain and coach, Stephen Keshi, is dead. He died suddenly Wednesday morning in Nigeria at the age of 54. Sources said his death was shocking as he spoke with several of his friends, including sports journalists and editors, from Benin City, Edo State, on Tuesday. Keshi, who lost his wife, Kate, last year, was said to be planning to return to his base in the United States of America on Wednesday (today). His family confirmed the development in a statement. The statement was signed by his relative and manager, Emmanuel Ado.
