What could be the offence of this little kid that his teacher should injure him this muchup a pupil over an undisclosed offence, using a barbed wire, thereby inflicting severe injuries on the child.

According to a Facebook user by the nameRita Kaagwa, the inhuman treatmentmeted out on the boy was so serious that the youths of the community mobilised themselves and were hellbent on beating the teacher to death but they were persuaded by the elders not to take the laws into their hands but to hand over the teacher to the police.

Read what Kaagwa wrote:
"This young boy is nursing severe wounds arising from inhuman beatings from his teacher; imagine how merciless and hurtful is this man claiming to be a teacher. We should come out with full force to condemn these actions against our children!"

NBTE Fires 13 Lecturers, Demotes 16 Others at Auchi Polytechnic over Sex-for-Marks Scandals

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) on Thursday announced the dismissal of five lecturers and the termination of appointments of eight others in Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi. The dismissal and termination of appointments are in connection with sexual-related offences. The Executive Secretary of the board, Dr Masa’udu Kazaure, who made this known at a news conference in Kaduna, said 16 other lecturers were demoted, while four others were warned. He also said two others were advised, another two cautioned, while one lecturer would be mentored. He said the development was the outcome of an investigation following a publication by The Punch newspaper of April 9, 2016 with the title: `School Where Prostitutes Assist Male Students to Get Marks’.
