Troops Intercept, Kill Male Suicide Bomber on Dastardly Mission in Adamawa

Luck ran out of a strapped with Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on Saturday morning as troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE intercepted and neutralized him while on a dastardly mission at Madagali, Adamawa State.

Confirming the report, Acting Director Army Public Relations Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, said the suicide bomber was spotted by a vigilant duty sentry attempting to infiltrate troops forward defensive line along Madagali-Limankara road.

“He was gunned down by the vigilant sentry as he failed to stop when halted”, Usman said.

The Army spokesman added that the accurate shot also detonated the Improvised Explosive Device vest and was blown into pieces.
